Upcoming Pro-Life Events

January 14, 2012
All Saints Parish

Abortion is a topic that is rarely open for discussion. We hope that you will join us as one woman shares her journey to healing and experience an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the true impact abortion plays on an individual’s life. On January 14th, we will welcome Kris Gaspari from Rachel’s Vineyard. She will explore the effects of abortion and why counseling did not help, but CHRIST did. We will have cake, wine and cheese as well as excellent opportunities for fellowship. We hope you will join us!

  1. I just wanted to say that the diocesan pro life retreat was really good. Fr. Guthrie Dolan gave a couple of good presentations, three women who experienced crisis pregnancies spoke about the effect it had on their lives and the different ways they dealt with the pregnancies, and Tom Chapman spoke about upcoming pro life legislation. Melissa Ohden gave a very touching testimony about how abortion nearly took her own life as an infant. The day ended with Mass celebrated by Bishop Pates and Msgr. Bognanno. It was a day full of information and inspiration.
The Roe vs Wade event held by Iowa Right to Life was also very informative. Lots of facts were shared. Troy Newman of Operation Rescue spoke passionately about life and the need to keep working to protect it.
Great events that I’m so glad I could attend!
