U.S. House Passes Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act – Send Feedback to Your Representative

From Susan B. Anthony List: “As you know, this Wednesday the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (H.R. 36). This historic legislation seeks to save unborn children from brutally painful late-term abortions after 20 weeks, or 5 months of pregnancy.

Click HERE to see how your representative voted on the bill and send them a message of gratitude or disappointment based on their vote.” (Click on the first action alert “See how your representative voted on H.R. 36” to quickly send a prepared message).

“Remember, the United States is one of only seven countries in the world that allows these gruesome late-term abortions now, and that list includes the oppressive regimes of North Korea and China.”

RHNDA Update

According to the Iowa Catholic Conference: The U.S. House voted to disapprove of the Reproductive Health Non-Discrimination Amendment Act (RHNDA). RHNDA would force religious institutions, faith-based organizations, and pro-life advocacy organizations to hire or retain employees who publicly act in defiance of the mission of their employer. (It was good that the House attempted to stop this threat to religious liberty).

Sadly, the U.S. Senate chose not to address the measure by the end of the congressional review period and so RHNDA has taken effect.

Pro-Life Mother Teresa

LifeNews.com:  “News reports this week indicate Mother Teresa will be canonized in September 2016 by the Catholic Church. Regardless of one’s religious views, Mother Teresa was well-respected for her courageous and forthright views against abortion. Famously, the Catholic also known for her role in helping to feed the hungry and end poverty, said that abortion ‘is the greatest threat to peace.’”

Pro-Life Pope Francis

“All life has inestimable value even the weakest and most vulnerable, the sick, the old, the unborn and the poor, are masterpieces of God’s creation, made in his own image, destined to live forever, and deserving of the utmost reverence and respect.”

Pope Francis (Message at Day for Life in Britain and Ireland, July 28, 2013)
